Solution: This Research Laboratory was constructed for rigorous use. Using Trespa Top Lab 16mm solid core material for the tops, under bench power support and reagent stand to offer the best protection for chemical use. The Reagent stand carries double power sockets, data and double gas valves each side with additional power supplied underneath.
The perimeter has been designed for easy cleaning with mobile storage underneath and large Trespa splash backs to the wall sink area with toughened glass end panels offer further protection. Double drainer sink is 316 grade acid resistant and the ceramic sinks offer hand washing facility with sensor taps.
DDA (Disabled and Disability) benches have been incorporated into the end island unit offering the individual the ability to adjust each bench from 690mm to 900mm; an upstand has been attached to cater for spillage.
The fume cupboard was supplied to a very high specification and was to include complete extraction system. |
