“From the early concept of the scheme, a challenge for the team was always to provide our client with furniture of good quality which would stand the test of time, but to a very stringent budget. Millar West attended a number of “workshops” with Kier and our client to establish what the scheme could afford, and to look at any items where value engineering could be levied against enhancements in a number of areas. A good trusting relationship developed between Millar West, Kier and our client, with an open & honest approach of what would work, against what wouldn’t. Millar West went above and beyond the call of duty, with a number of sessions required before we were able to finalise the scheme.
Millar West hosted a separate session for our client to inspect/test the items that were being offered ahead of placement of order, this was well received and was an overall benefit to the success of the scheme.
