Food Technology Room

This project was a new build, working in partnership with Morgan Sindall.  The requirements were specified by the client and the architect and the final design was completed by Millar West Ltd.

The Food Technology Room was finished to a high standard using Velstone tops with 50mm downstand and a Beech and Silver finish option.  All appliances were supplied including fully integrated refrigerators, built-in electric and gas ovens and inset hobs.  The layout of the room accommodated all DDA requirements, incorporating height adjustable workstations with a hob and sink unit.  Hand-wash facilities were fully encased using 16mm Trespa consisting of three ceramic sinks with monobloc mixer taps, with Velstone top to match all work surfaces.  The Teacher’s Desk was specifically designed to allow pupil circulation and contains refrigerator, oven and hob.
