Food Technology Room

This project was a Food Technology Room refurbishment, with the aim to offer a practical working environment for the pupils.  Working with the school we came up with a design offering five working areas in which each pupil had ample cooking and preparation facilities, as well as storage space.  The teacher desk was situated to allow good visibility over each of the work areas, as well as oven and hob for demonstrations and participation.

All sinks were hard-wearing stainless steel with lever taps for easy operation, and the worksurface Trespa Athlon – a solid core worksurface both highly resistant and easy to clean.  We also incorporated a double hand-wash station for pupils at the front of the room.
